Cummins reman quality is crap.

 

I would go with Allis Chalmers.

Lol, yea they can be some fine horses! You need to set in my passenger seat, you’ll notice quite a few late model large cars in the rear view as well….

 

An overhaul is only as good as the guy that did it, you got that right.

And I just change parts, so I have to rely on others to help. @wore out has spent a lot of time helping me, and a lot of others.

 

Yea I have to agree. Anyone can throw a cake in the oven, not everyone gets a good tasting cake though….

 

I’ll be the first to say, I don’t hardly know anything about a yellow motor, but I’m familiar and comfortable with the old Big Cams, so I still run them. I’ve driven Cat powered trucks over the years, and honestly can’t say a bad thing about them….

 

That’s one Cat I’d sure like to keep, it would be like a pocket on a shirt with those forks….
