Is it true that Walmart makes everyone go out with a mentor for 1-2 weeks even if you have 10+ years experience?

Yes they do. You sleep at a hotel everynight, the mentor drives the first few days. They do this to make sure you get familiar with the computer and the automatic truck and also they want you to learn the Walmart way of doing business. They pay you and the mentor a fixed amount of money daily so you can take it easy and prepare for when you are solo.
It helped me a lot when I did it 8 years ago, I had 23 years of experience then.

Yes, I am with them, been here 8 years and the money is awesome. The work is very easy, I learned too live with their "politics" (no big deal, just pretend that you care and they are happy with that). Made over 150K in 2021 but extended 45 out of 52 workweeks.

How's there health insurance? I have one child who has autism and does aba therapy it's about $250k a year so insurance is very important. From what I've found online it's about $220 every check and co-pays are about $35. Does that sound right?

I'll let someone else answer that because my wife has such an awesome health insurance that we never used Walmart's.

Health insurance is adequate, I never use it just to meet requirements, have an hsa which is nice.

I am very lazy, never extend or work Xtra, took all of my 32 days off last year and paid taxes on $108k last year
