I imagine there starting to have a few cancellations on the trailers already ordered…….

TK’s are around 34 right now. We’ll, that was a few months ago though if you could find one.

I have 3 coming in July that combined are 113k with chrome package, tracking, solar, etc.

I rolled by the Taylor & Martin Salisbury N.C. lot Thursday morning and there had to be 20+ reefer trailers up for auction.

Our local Taylor & Martin is always pretty full so it’s hard to judge anything by looking at this one. Been this way for years. Never went to one. Maybe I will just to see what stuff is going for.

That's actually a good point. As an afterthought, I was a bit surprised he suddenly popped up, after 8 months of radio silence, with the quote on my custom build versus an incoming refused delivery or stock order that might be close enough. Tribe and one or two other bigger reefer outfits order 100's through this dealer at any given time, and they're always monkeying around with their orders and inflow of new equipment. The two 2017's I have were both stock orders, of course that was different times.

Could have been he already knows disk brakes and Thermo-guard liner throughout were deal breakers for me, and those are upgrades the bigger fleets tend to cut corners on with their larger orders. He also knew I wasn't desperate and willing to compromise much either. He offered one like that late last year and I passed. It was an ugly spec, like something a chicken plant would order just for storage. They chose the cheap option for everything, and changes were not possible. No thanks I'll wait and just nurse what I already got to keep going.

That's kind of what I heard from my Doraville dealer August last year. At that time he said he had some C600's on the floor, but the S series orders were backing up to January '22. My 2017 S700's were high $20's, I expect new ones to be $10k more. I need to drop him an email and see where they're at.

I found a 2018 Wabash Dry Van on Columbus Ohio Craigslist. Nice Trailer, even had side boxes. $24k firm. Guy said it’s still available, then never replied again. I then received a bunch of fake alerts trying to get me to download so called anti virus program updates. Lol. I knew better. But had to find out. Thankfully the malware attempts to hack my phone stopped after a couple days. Still looking, carefully. Lol.

Well the order is in. Two new 53 reefers equipped with S700's, that ought to hit the ground Decemberish, $120k each. Timeline seems credible at the moment, and what I got still works, so I can wait it out.

I have two 2017's, one early one late, bought a year apart 5 and 6 years ago. My email archive got fouled up, but if memory serves those came in at about $72k each. Those were in-stock trailers. Had I ordered the same spec I just did today, they might have been closer to $76-77k.

I had planned to refresh them a year ago, but got jammed up trading trucks and waited too late. By the time I had the truck buying wrapped up, the trailer supply chain was fubar and only megas were getting their phone calls answered.
