No prob, love to help on any old KW! Sounds like a button for resettable breaker, but picture is worth a thousand words! Also, we need full specs and pictures of this old girl!

I'll try to get that posted when I return. Be advised, however, she has been sitting in a field for about the last 10 years and is in a very sad state at this time. Hope to remedy that over the next couple of years though.

The lock with key on first invoice is actually for bunk door exterior handles. Here is part number for key and tumbler kit for cab door and ignition. Was $70 when I bought them in 2019. KIMG0148.JPG

If it’s not a momentary switch for the start circuit put a light on the center pin on the trailer cord. I’ve seen a few built with the trailer hot line breaker by the ignition switch.

Sorry for the late response. Back with that vintage 50% of the wires were 14 gauge. The rest were 12ga and larger. 99% were all one color “Black” but were marked with banded numbers made of paper. Color coding didn’t become a thing with Kw until the B model era. Same with Pete. Started with the new 379 cabs.
