    That's rough.
I don't see how a couple holes on the 5th wheel could make that kind of difference.
I wonder if the load shifted. Guess you'll find out when you open it up.

    Did they fine you?

    jurupa terminal.
got here late last nite so slept in truck.
still no loads and went to dispatch window to talk to a planner and none are here .
gave the guy at window other drivers truck number and he says his truck in on hold.
so I called him and he found out he is on hold for the 90 day inspection.
so now we are definitely not running this last trip.
    so going home.

    dwells40 Thanks this.

I wonder if it was a hard braking event or if they were just loaded poorly.
Doesn't seem smart to stack kegs.

I got to the Sam's in Eagan and as usual that place is a cluster.
There were several loaded trailers parked along the side and another Swift truck was just backing in.
When I went inside I was told there was no mt for me to take, so I would have to wait if I wanted an mt.

What... I have a choice? Because I don't actually need an mt because I am going home.
Oh, well, then you can just drop your trailer over there on the side and bobtail out.
So then there were 4 trailers on the side and I was headed home.
    Nice.

When I got to my car at IGH the battery didn't have enough charge to start the car. 5 weeks out...
Good ol' NOCO battery jumper comes through and pays for itself once again.

82 degrees, so it was a nice top down drive home.
I love having a rag top again.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

I think a little of both. he said he had to come to a quick slow down at one point.
    also rough roads around vail
my mistake was not stopping at a cascade b4 hitting the scalehouse.
would still had to deal with the overweight... but wouldn't have got a tix

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

So what truck are you driving?
In my LT I had a weight gauge and in my Cascadia an air pressure gauge for the drive weight.
Those should have registered very high with that much weight up there.

    dptrucker and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this.
