maybe we could let him play his video game just once, and some stray voltage would leak out......

First of all.... If your in prison, you have no rights!

Second of all.... If your in prison, you did something that caused you to leave all your comforts of home!

Third of all.... If your in prison, you shouldn't get nothing but a pillow, blanket, maybe something to eat, and a awesome view of your fellow inmates taking a crap!

This pisses me off! Why should they be allowed all the comforts of home? But yet, you have nothing but pansies in this country anymore.... "It's inhumane to not let them watch TV" Bull ####!

They are not talking about the video games, but old book form of D&D. Played with paper, pen, and dice.

Yeah, I was gonna say, when did D&D become a video game? Did they mean World of Warcraft?

Good luck getting all the materials, btw.

Dungeons and Dragons is awesome! It encourages socializing, and it's a form of recreational activity. I thought encouraging the inmates to use their imaginations instead of their fists was a good thing.:biggrin_25523:

I've actually seen the aftermath of a fight between inmates over a monopoly game. There was enough blood splatter to require extra cleanup. I don't think it matters what game is involved, some people just love to beat the hell out of each other.

    Unreal!
Of course you do realize that most inmates have a better life than most OTR truckers!
How many OTR truckers can say they have all of the following benefits:
free health care (inc dental, eyeglasses, and prescriptions)
    3 meals a day
    cable/satelite tv
    workout facilities
    access to higher education
    sleep 8-10 hrs/nite in HEATED/AIR CONDITIONED rooms
a REAL toilet to use anytime they want
    friends to socialize with anytime
    Did I miss anything?
(of course the drawback of Bubba wanting sexual favors is a little hard to deal with, but I bet there are some inmates that would consider that a bennie also! ;-) )

In PA, they don't get free health care, they have to pay a fee. Are you sure you want to eat the cheapest expired food the state can buy? They only get the regular local TV stations with old rabbit ears. Only offered GED classes, no college level class. Some of the older jails don't have very good heat and no A/C. The toilet you must share with your cellmate is 3 feet from your bed and has no lid. Guess where you are when he takes a dump? Your life is very controlled, not as much socializing as you think.

My father is getting ready to retire as PA state corrections officer. There is way in hell I'm every going to the state or federal pen.

To all you big bad men out there, in prison you are either giving up your butt or sucks off.
