Interstate 35 crash and burn

That trucker is certainly done!! Idiot!!
He had ample room for escape

 

That semi never even slowed down. He never saw the red truck sitting there. No situational awareness. He is in some trouble.

 

So we just park our cars in the middle of the interstate and go home ?

 

If you read the story, you would see that the pickup had hit a deer and was disabled. This could be as simple as a fuel pump cutoff when a collision was sensed, thereby not allowing the vehicle to be restarted.

 

Yep, and if you watch the playback, you can see the truck driver is drifting out of his lane, well before he gets to the truck. I'd bet odds on favorite, he's looking/texting on his phone.

 

And to add to my previous post that he had room and time to move.
There’s little traffic right behind him. He could have slowed all the traffic and come to a stop preventing the next guy from hitting it

Sometimes the guy up front jumps out last second due to not paying attention or worrying about himself?? Which only leaves the next guy to be left in a bad situation
