Hello I just bought a 2021 load king half round. Coming from a belly dump. I can’t figure out how to get the tailgate working. Belly used a round 4-way as does the new end dump. The belly only used 2 of the 4 wires and the back side of the round 4-way on the end dump has all 4 wires connected. I’ve done tons of research and can’t find a good lead. Even called load king and no call backs. Thank you.
End dump tailgate wiring

It might have extra wires for the tailgate latch,I'm not sure ,just guessing.
Probably separate circuts for gate lift and gate latches. No gate latch on any belly dumps I have ran.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Have you looked at the air valves to see what color wires are connected to them?

No sir I haven’t started tearing panels off just yet. I got the latches to open but no luck on the gate.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Well if you got the latches working then you have already found the ground. Try putting power to each of the remaining pins and see what each one does.

Another Canadian driver and North Pole Nightmare Thank this. -
Well I guess I had it figured out already. Latches and gate work off same switch. According to load king themselves. Flip the switch and latches open. Go back and push on gate it tries to open. It will sometimes open all the way up but is so weak I can hold it shut with my hands. I’m guessing an extremely weak air supply. Trailer brakes released in truck and 125 psi. Now where to start with air lines.

May just need to cycle it a few times.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I probably worked it up and down 10 times. Didn’t seem to want to get any better with each cycle.

We had an old Clements years ago,it was always slow to open.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
This won’t even try to open unless I push hard on the gate. And it’s basically brand new
Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
