that "skill" is completely lost! I have become fearful on passing lately or being passed. Unbelievable!!

 

Ouch. What a way for the woman driving the Buick to go. My condolences. Drivers need to work on being more mentally engaged on the road. That way there isn't any drifting and such.

 

Broken down vehicles should have properly placed triangles down behind. That's a huge indicator. Some 4 ways are another clue.

 

The interstate has become nothing more than a high speed wagon trail. Donkeys and camels flyjng at breakneck speed cannot maintain their lanes. It takes several generations of third world drivers to grasp our simple commercial driving practices. It's only going to get worse. It blows my mind that so many cannot be troubled with triangles and flashers when you have traffic blowing by at high speeds mere feet away from your stationary vehicle.

 

I see truck broken down every day , I. Intersections etc , with the flashers on and the hood up but can’t be bothered to set out the triangles so the rest of the traffic KNOWs you’re broke down and ain’t waiting to turn or something

 

Never mind that you’re given 10 minutes to get those triangles out anyway!

 

Still don't see how a trio of 18" tall triangles and a pair of flashing tail lights will have any effect on those too blind to see a 13'6 x 8'6 wall. Other than liability anyways.

 

Then there are those Drivers that see potential Injury or Death accessing their Triangles from DRIVER Side Box OR do not, for some reason , have inside access to Side Box OR they just don't know about using Triangles.

WHEN I Had to pull off on Shoulders, for Liquid Emergencies, VERY RANDOM, My 4 ways were already flashing before sliding over.
I, when I ran Dedicated Runs, knew where to stop, so shoulders were not utilized UNLESS Traffic was diverted for Accidents, Emergency Vehicles, Construction.
