I was in non moving traffic with my flashers on on an icy afternoon and a car shoots in front of traffic, slips and collided with my trailer resulting in a fatality. Along in the investigation the officer start to think my logs are suspicious and charge my company with false logbook violations. I need to know what will that mean for me and do I need a lawyer.
Serious help possibly needed.

I detest lawyers and their whole scumbag profession, but you’ll likely have one of the aforementioned scumbags on your tail with a wrongful death lawsuit before too long. You’ll need one of them unfortunately.

You were stopped and someone crashed into you and died?
As long as your logs are legal you're gonna be OK. If not you'll be sued and held responsible if you couldn't be there legally regardless of his actions.
