Might also be trying to break you to let the company know you're not going to work out.

Just to be contrary -
What if the trainer is bending over backwards to give the trainee time to do things? What would take him 30 minutes and a "average" trainee an hour is taking 1.5-2 hours. That means there is less time to pop into the truck stop, etc.
Last week was a 5 day, 2,200 mile week averaging a 13 hour day start to finish. Easy customers, all drop and hook, 4 loads in total. Trainee thought I was pushing too hard. By myself no day would have been over 11 hours, start to finish and that would include a nap.Another Canadian driver, rockeee, Siinman and 2 others Thank this. -
