Get a at home test and give it to dr. I had a lady Dr flag me for age and neck. I haven't had tonsils since it was 18. I'm a big guy, neck was big in highschool. I sleep well. The hospital she worked for had a clinic in the basement. 3400.00 per study.

There is no requirement on who does the test. She argued about it all. In the end, I had a test that didn't recommend treatment. My family doctor of 25 years did not recommend treatment. I then found a new provider for dot physicals, and continued to see my family doctor for my Healthcare needs.

I'm not basing my care off sum Dr I see every 2 years, sorry.

Wearing a 2xl shirt is not an excuse for "heavy lifting". I weigh 240, and wear Smalls to Mediums and 30's in jeans size. Your neck won't look like a pencil by the way. When you lose weight, it'll come off of everywhere. Mine is 16.5 inches, just under what the FMCSA thinks is what causes sleep apnea.

how in the world do you weigh 240 and wear a size small shirt?

My neck was measured at 17 at my physical a week ago.

none of that matters. The woman who fitted my machine? 5 foot even. Possibly 90 pounds and had to have a cpap. The doctor who did my physical? Ordinary average 5’11” 185 type, 35-40, cpap for years.

The medical industry is coming hard and fast for it. They can’t write endless prescriptions for pain pills now, gotta make the money somehow.

but how do you wear a size small at 240?even zdeno chara, 6’9” and 255 wears an xl...

I was required to get a sleep study. Diagnosed with sleep apnea. Got a CPAP machine. So glad I did! Never slept better. Feel better. Not necessarily a bad thing.

I’m happy for you. No, honestly.

Before I got mine I slept 3-4 hours a day and was never sleepy until I was in bed. Since, I wear the stupid thing 8-9 hours, sleeping or not so the data looks good and I’m so miserable that I’m always tired and indeed fall asleep every day between 5-7 pm for 30 minutes, and at this point I’m too scared to tell the sleep people. My PCP tells me it’s getting used to having something on my face and I’m probably not sleeping well.
    No kidding?

You destroyed my life for this? Lovely.
