You don't need to justify a ride on! That's what zero turns are for- light 'er up and PIVOT!

I'd have it all cut in under 10 minutes with a zero turn.

More time to wax and polish the mower, drink beer, and jaw with your fellow SuperMower buddies about the best way to get rid of those pesky Dandelions and the neighbor's dog that shts on the front lawn.
You are close, so very close. But not quite there yet on grumpy codger. I see potential, don't give up.

He already goes for the green tractor for some reason, I like the Oliver but need to steer him a little lol.

I’m mostly a J.I Case guy actually, but like them all. I had the other green at one time, 1946 Long hood slant dash A, but it wasn’t really excepted by some of the family members so it went down the road…..

My grandpa had a few tractors. I don't remember the specifics. Pretty sure he had a pair of larger N Series Fords that were restored up nice. He had a neat Ford ride on mower, looking online I'd wager a guess on it being one of the larger LGT models. He had an old orange ride-on mower. Zero clue as to what it was. Might have been an Allis-Chalmers or a Case?

The same cousin had a Oliver, and a Minneapolis Moline. But the red ones was his favorites. He had about a dozen of them. I don’t know the model numbers, all I remember is Cub and A . It’s been a few years .He’s dead now, and his wife auctioned all that stuff off

The 184 is basically the same drive train as the Farmall Cub, flathead 4 cylinder, 3 spd transmission, with the same rear axle, axle housings just rotated to drop the frame down.

I had a Minneapolis Moline Z but sold it. Had a lot of N series Ford over the years….

Not sure about your particular situation, but Roundup and a 7mm Magnum cleared those little problems up for me.
