It seems from reading some of the posts that Millis still usese paper logs.
Are there any plans to go paperless. I would think paperless is the better
way to go as it forces companys to properly create a load plan. Not
worried though. If its paper than I shall log on paper.

Strange. I live in Chattanooga and just 2 weeks ago, after telling Millis I had 19 yrs experience-13 with the same employer, no accidents and a clean MVR, they told me they werent hiring. There sure seems to be a lot of "newbies" posting here that live a lot further away than me, starting orientation and training classes this month and next though. Could it be they don't want to pay an experienced driver the 50K a yr they advertise???? Hmmmm......

Thats ridiculas. I live about 30 miles from Cartersville and my annual DOT physical costs 38.00. I think you need to find a new Dr.!

Or could it be as an experianced driver you wouldn't be paying them $5k for school and training?

Hey charlie, I think you are right, that price does sound pretty high. That is the only doc in our little one horse town. I am calling around to find better deal. Hitman, I think you are right my freind.:biggrin_2554:

In reference to charlies' reply. Sounds like alot of experienced drivers get
told the same from other companys. That almost sounds like job discrimination. I think if a lot of drivers get together and file a complaint
agaisnt some of those companys when they deny you based on years of
experience then some things just may change. You would need proof though.
    Just an opinion.
