2005 pete 379 C15 Acert
Manufacture Date -11/2004
All LED lights
Lights in mudflap hangers
We have been battling this issue for about 2 years. The Turn signals only work when they want to it seems. It's been to 3 shops, it's gotten multiple blinker switches, Flasher relays, I replaced both brake pressure switches 4 days ago. I recently started driving this truck 2 weeks ago. The last guy hardly left the highway so he just manually blinked them. I haul a mix of things including oversize, yesterday I was downtown Milwaukee with pilot cars so I need this #### to work. It's had the wiring to the lights in mudflaps replaced 4 times. I've pulled all the lights checked and replaced some butt splices ( all heat shrunk) also all have been properly checked for proper length stripped and crimped. It has dual rev S/T/T to reverse, connections are good and I replaced one light with bad connection to pigtail yesterday. It seems when there stuck on if I hit a bump they some times start working, or vise versa. I also have noticed my phone charger which has power from the cigarette lighter blows fuses every once in awhile, when I go to replace the fuse the blades in the fuse melts so times.....so I'm very worried there is something wrong with the fuse block. When trick is parked they seen to always work, last night I went front to back checked plugs behind bumper at Y harness, pulled and wiggled everything pins/plugs, lights. Inspected wires. Shook harness while blinkers were working. Pulled and shook cables into junction box to trailer wiring (did not open to inspect) going to do that today. Next step is to replace brake pressure sensors and brake pedal valve. We have also tried to replace 2/3 led lights with halogens for more draw. Nothing I've listed had made a difference. I know this is long but its all the information to this point. If anyone has experienced this and has tried anything not listed or found the culpret I'd greatly appreciate the help.
2005 379 turn signal nightmare.

Ok I will give that a try, I have also noticed online some led Flasher relays have # of lamps there for, I'm assuming that is max. I'm going to check to see what the one in here is rated for this afternoon.

I have figured it out, I'm not I believe it was just a bad flasher ground. It was grounded to 1/4" aluminum bracket in the dash with a coarse thread sheet metal screw. I can't say for sure, I also found 4 positives shorting out on frame and 2 in the dash. Also multiple broken ground wires including a 4 gauge cab to sleeping ground.
