looking to go back over the road, I was a Steel hauler for Falcon and compass regional driver home on weekends. quiet back in 1997 had little over two years.
came close to buying my own tractor but never did.
Now I am a HVAC contractor but due to the economy things are real hard.
looking to just fold this thing up and get a job with benefits driving a tractor trailer flatbed.
just took my hazmat had my finger prints and had my medical Examination card a few weeks ago, all updated.
Thing is I have not been in a big truck in a while well since jan of 1997 I know they send you out with another driver for 3 weeks, well they did when I started working for them back in 1994.
Thing is now I am 48 this is it, will get with a good company and stick it out.

Hi Gary Welcome to the Forum, Thanks for introducing yourself! Yup you are gonna have to go back out with a trainer again. And if you are goin back for flatbed you can expect your orientation to be a couple weeks most likely as well. They will wanna make sure you still know how to tarp and secure your loads, different types of loads and all. Wishing you much luck on goin back over the road!! and by the way.... 48 years old??
