I looked into these and believe they are worth it. I will buy them when I buy my 8 new drives.
You can check your tires every single time you stop and that’s great. However you can easily pickup a nail and drive up to several hours before you notice it. In that timeframe a tire could be worn so oddly it’s pretty much junked. At my current cost of $700+ per tire for tier 1 11r24.5 and considering these Halos last many many years I think you will get your money back. It could also keep you from needing a road call which is expensive.
I also like how you can check both tires in the dual assembly at the same time with one valve.Judge Thanks this. -
The Halo is never going to keep up with an early. You would be much better off with tire pressure monitoring sensors. I believe that the upper level halos do offer that but it's kind of stupid to pay that much for something that's not really going to do what you're trying to do with it. If you do tire pressure monitors you'll know what your tire pressures are every single time you get in the truck and when you're driving down the road
