well, almost a month and still waiting for them to find the truck in the system.
the triaxle is now done and waiting to be picked up.
i went thursday to check it out.
lift axle control and air valve are outside behind the cab instead of inside.
i don't think the diff lock and interaxle lock are working on that one either, because nothing happens when the switch is turned on.
at least the triaxle does not loose 100 PSI air in 30 minutes like the tandem does.
it arrived at the dealer monday morning and thursday afternoon still had 89 PSI air in system when i fired it up.
salesman was not very happy i was not leaving with the truck.

and.... a month later and i still do not have the truck even though they call and want to know when we are coming to get it. when we say we are on the way, they say don't bother, the paperwork is not done yet.

the tandem is back at the dealer for the sheridan steering gear recall.
finally got the triaxle wednesday night after waiting 1 hour for them to determine the steering gear it it was not on the recall list.
i have not used it but to drive home.

finally got the truck lettered and hooked up to the trailer to go to work.
no brakes. how the hell can you send out a truck built to pull a trailer with no brakes?
customer service at paccar has really gone down the sewer line.

it took 5 months but i now have the trolley brake installed.
stability control and traction control are still all screwed up though. they claim they can not change sensitivity due to fed regulations.
also could not duplicate the problem.
the next day i ran 2 loads and stability control defueled the truck 5 times, and applied the brakes twice each load getting off and on highways.

11 months after we finally got this truck on the road the transmission exploded at 12,320 miles. took them a month to put a new trans in. and it is a completely different truck. a lot more power, no more stability or traction control issues.
so it seems the trans was bad from day one.
i have put a little over 1,000 miles on it since getting it back from allison dealer.
