Very nice sir. Some of my favorite memories of my late grandmother was going to church with her. Good to see my generation still taking part in the good word. Seems a dying breed for most people my age.singlescrewshaker, tramm01, TooTiredToTalk and 14 others Thank this.

Taco Bell is not so regular, it's gonna happen you just aren't sure when.
Sometimes in 10 minutes, sometimes next day and sometimes it's a MAYDAY MAYDAY hit the shoulder kinda thing.singlescrewshaker, tramm01, CAXPT and 7 others Thank this. -
My Grandma passed away 2 weeks ago, so my brother and i took her piano to the church so it could still be enjoyed.
Sign out front was speaking straight to me.

I miss the most was the courtesy drivers would extend to one another. Not because they had to, but it was the right thing to do. Reefers did not park next to dry vans or flats if there was somewhere else to park. Allowing a driver to get out of a situation without you sliding up on them making a bad situation worse. Helping another driver without having to be asked. "Need some help driver?". Being part of the safety net in a time where there were no cell phones or qualcomms. If you couldn't get to a phone it was a real problem. Stuck out in the middle of nowhere with a broke truck could cost you your life. Yesterdays drivers stopped or got on the CB, "You okay driver, need some help?"
While we are talking about CB radios, I wish we could go back to the CB being used a a helpful tool and not a little boys toy. The bully's, "#### driver if you can't do your job you need to find another job!"
The pervert who thinks I care what they are or are not wearing, I don't. Just general toy use instead of helpful information. Road closed, wreck ahead, break down,, stuff in the road, bad weather, I need to know about these things.
Younger drivers are not told of respectful driving and are surprised when that respect is afforded to them by and old skooler.
So much was lost when all you teach is how to get the truck down the road.Last edited: Jul 4, 2022

Reefer row was where it all happened. The bedbugs with the card games and parties going in the trailers were back there with the chillys. Was like some kind of twisted carnival out there.singlescrewshaker, tramm01, beastr123 and 5 others Thank this.
