Where is everyone #5

Lost another friend this morning, he was employed by the city here. Great guy, loved raising a garden and canning food. And loved his motorcycles, sure wish now I would have bought the old BSA off of him.

Nate had signs that something was wrong, but like myself was hard headed and refused the Dr. visits.

He’s been off work now about 5 months. When he did go to the Dr. it was to late, he had stage 4 liver cancer. He fought hard, but the cancer finally won out.

Nate loved to get my wife going on my attraction to things of the past, and this old bicycle was no exception. During clean up week couple years ago he saved it for me, knowing I would show up with my own junk to get rid of. He got a big laugh telling my wife that I throwed stuff away and took stuff back lol….

 

You know….

God grant me the wisdom…..

Not a big believer in…..

Well you know….


But he knows what he’s talking about….

 

Now I know where Honda got the idea for the ST from.

 

If it were easy, it wouldn't be rewarding.

 

Wow, I need to start checking in sooner...missed everything, but I did add one ignore from that Happy 4th thread. They were close in another thread, but this one cinched it. Only 2 ignores in 14 years, and they were all in the past week or 2. Oh well...and sorry to hear someone else is losing it. God Bless all..and hope your 4th was good.

Yeah, that was pretty low, bringing that crap as a response to someone simply wishing everyone a happy 4th.

 

Got an early start to the day. Picked up a split load in New Holland, PA last week for a Thursday morning delivery in Paris, TX and a Friday morning delivery in Lamesa, TX. The folks in Paris were taking a 4 day weekend but the GM and another manager stayed late on Thursday to help me assemble the wheels and tires for two Case RB465 round bailers and get them off of the trailer. Such nice people there at Paris Farm and Ranch.
The folks in Lamesa didn't give me a good enough answer to make the drive only to find out I wouldn't be able to unload my last round bailer so I took it to the house and had a 3 day weekend with my family.

Gotta make that last drop today though. Hope you all had a great holiday weekend. Stay safe.

 

Can't remember who I was talking to about the gps and whatnot but I picked up a garmin today. Came with a ram mount ball for the mag mount or a screw down base if you wanted to use the stock arm if you didn't have a ram mount already in the truck.



Magnet seems pretty strong and now it's out of my windshield.
