What’s the difference between Landstar and Schneider.
Which one pays moreAnother Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Schneider Choice when it started seemed like a pretty good deal but from what I have read, the gravy they keep for company drivers now. Disadvantage of working with a company that has its own drivers. Landstar has NO company drivers. It also has the advantage that when you book it, it is yours - no going back and forth with the broker. Now whether the loads ever get cancelled I cant say.
Pay wise, I dont think there is even a question about it. Landstar is better and I would guess a lot more loads as well.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Current van loads 52k available nationwide... landstar
Another Canadian driver and Speed_Drums Thank this. -

Sorry, I didn't read all your posts here but few pages at beginning when you said all was great and few pages at the end where you call it Landstarve. I hauled a load for LS, $2000 from Provo UT to Orla TX in BFE. They wouldn't even pay but 75 dollars detention. Said I got there after cut off time on Tuesdsy. Receiver had to schedule a crane Wednesday morning. And told me I'd have to come back that day. Receiver at no crane Tueaday or any equipment at all on location to unload the tank I had.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
