Heading off to Werner

so how much do you get after taxes and bond also what is the bond for

 

The bond is for if you quit or your terminated if you keep the any of there tools they give you, if you have any advances taken out, damage to the truck, or cleaning fees to clean the truck and some other stuff I cant remeber but they have $10 out of every check until it equals $400.00 I think after taxes mine came to about $260

 

Yep,I think mine was $268.00.Unemplyment pays more!!LOL!

 

I don't think the bond starts until you are assigned a truck

its $10 a week until $400 is paid and when your threw working there any damgae missing tool and cleaning they have to do they take it out of that $400 if you pay the whole thing

 

Very true. When I started Werner back in 2000, I went to their driving school in Hastings,NE (it was a good school back then, I have heard bad stories about it recently) and flew from Cleveland,OH to Grand Island,NE. They reimbursed me the cost of the trip if taken by bus. Ha, I got the good end on that one. I bought my plane ticket so far in advance I ended up only paying $30.

 

man so 325 a week take out taxes plus the bond, whats that 200 bucks a week??? i cant even pay rent with that, does werner make u sign a contract like crst does??? and does running regional make u get more home time???

 

no its $10 a week out of every paycheck until it adds up to $400. I dot think they make you sign a contract. As far as regional I really dont know about that I was driving all 48 states
