This is on a Freightliner Columbia that was owned by Ozark. What did this controller work with? They took out any GPS or ELD that it may have connected to.
What was this hooked up to?

Reminds me of the controls for a Qualcomm. I've never seen it where that part wasn't actually part of the whole unit, but that would be my guess.

Thanks. I'll put the phone holder or some other mount over the hole.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Specifically, this is a CV90-J8640-1 Push Button Remote Control Unit. It was an optional accessory for the QC system.
gentleroger and Todd727 Thank this. -
Outstanding information. Now to trace the wiring harness and get it out of the truck when I have some spare time.
Appreciate your help. -
If I understand it correctly there are only 4 parts to that type of QC system. The main QC unit. The hand unit and this part plug into the main unit and the antenna. I would highly recommend not removing it unless you have something to cover that hole with. Trust me. I don't care how much attention you pay to the dash. A hole in the dash that size will cover the inside of the dash with dirt. Dirt and grime can lead to problems with other things in that dash. If you still have a QC just unplug it.
gentleroger Thanks this.
