UMT global logistics.. has anyone here worked for them

I feel like I'm being scammed by umt global logistics out of Illinois, I have went through all the pre-employment preliminaries, but they seem to not be able to give me a straight answer on anything, for instance when I asked them about pay their reply back was "we will pay you anything you want".... When I asked about the area they travel... The remark was "we will send you anywhere you want to go"....
When I ask them how often they pay they ask me "how often do you want to be paid"...... I think I'm being completely scammed, I cannot get an honest answer out of them....
The one red flag I see is when I did the drug test they told me it'd be 3 to 5 business days for results, umt global had it the next day... That's an impossible turnaround especially on 4th of July weekend, I did the drug test Thursday at 2:30 p.m. and they had the results at noon the next day on Friday... I call BS on that, I tried to contact the lab that did the test and their numbers disconnected, now in the morning I'm going to call the facility I did the drug test at and figure out if the results really did come back the next day or if this company fudged a piece of paper with results

 

Right now I'm in a state of shock because I don't know what to think, if somebody is willing to pay $250 for a drug test that means they must be somewhat interested.... every question I asked them does not come back with a straight honest answer, they have lied to me three different times on when I can meet their driver to get the truck, every conversation has a new twist

 

I have never seen a turnaround that fast in my history of trucking (32 years)... It was sent to the Lenexa lab after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and they had the results by noon on Friday, however it was a 4th of July weekend and I called BS on that turnaround, I tried to call the Lenexa lab with the number provided on the paperwork and that number is disconnected, here shortly I'm going to call the place that took the sample and have a good conversation with them... Yes these are all foreigners I've already talked to their dispatch, the only upside to all this is they are willing to bring the truck to Kansas City to me, and another driver is following them to take that driver home, at least that's the story they gave me today

 

It's all a big mystery I guess we'll see how it plays out

 

There is nothing else... There are no solo over the road driving jobs here in Kansas City, unless you want to get on with a mega carrier that will treat you like dirt... I've always worked for a small mom and pop company, however I did work for one mega Carrier and I know how they operate...
It's desperate times here in Kansas City, that's why if I do get a job the first $5,000 is going to be applied towards me moving out of here... Once I leave I will never live here again

 

I was unaware Tyson had a distribution center in Olathe, Ks... It would be nice to find a small carrier that had a contract with them, but working for Tyson directly would be like working for a big mega carrier in my opinion....
Joe Biden has done a pretty good job of destroying the transportation industry, even the airlines are struggling to find qualified pilots because of this lunatic
