Driving on a Flat Tire ??????

So if I’m driving a propane truck and get a blow out , how far can I limp along the highway legally? I was 60 miles from the yard and dispatch wanted me to keep going. No road service available.

 

Legally you can't drive it anywhere. You are however allowed to drive to nearest safe parking spot to affect repair. Why was tire service not available?
I've had tires repaired hundreds of miles away from provider. It just takes longer to get there and was more costly.

 

That’s what my dispatcher told me.
This company doesn’t like to spend money.
I thought there might be something about driving a hazmat truck with a flat that the police might frown upon.

If tire shop within 5 miles around me I would roll it, simply because it always takes forever to repair truck to show up ...
Now of course if it's not my steering tire, if that you you pretty much have no choice
