Hello everyone. I just completed the last of my trucking classes and passed my DMV test this past Wednesday and am now a CDL A holder. I'm located in Southern California, in the Inland Empire specifically and was looking for suggestions of companies that would hire on a brand new trucking school graduate. I've looked on Indeed and have only come across a few companies that specifically say they're hiring recent grads such as Sysco, Werner, and Schneider. I've researched these specific companies a bit online and would consider them if my options are truly limited, but figured I'd ask for more input. Besides these, every other listing for the most part I've come across has a requirement ranging from a few months to 2+ years of experience that I've come across. I'm open to any and all suggestions to get my foot in the door and get into a truck. I'd prefer to remain local if that's possible, but would consider a regional or dedicated gig if my options are limited. My main concern would be to receive proper training, and of course decent pay as a brand new driver would be a major plus. I don't have any additional endorsements besides the standard combinations and air breaks, and no automatic restriction. Thank you in advance to everyone!

That's pretty much the consensus I've been gathering from my research about those companies. Thanks for your reply.

Real good paychecks with Sysco and it's mostly home every night.

Don't go strictly by what's on the websites as far as experience required. You might miss out on a good job. Submit the application online from the websites and let the company decide you'll be hired or not.
