Does anyone drive for hirschbach motor lines? Ive spoken with their recruiter and considering going to them. I am interested in all information i can get that recruiters dont give.. basically i want the truth about them. Ive heard 98% good things. Information wanted includes:
Dedicated miles/hometime/pay... they claim a minimum pay on these routes... is this true? Can you make more? What are the routes?
Otr miles/hometime/pay... average of miles/pay?
Equipment reliability.. any issues with staying running? Trailer availability
Insurance.. i know for health its BCBS...what about dental/vision?
Communication with office personnel- is it difficult to communicate with dsp, hr, safety etc.
General morale/ feeling of company
And finally, their recent CDL training program.. is it thorough... will be attending at their kc terminal![]()

I just did a search for Hirschbach and I see several threads where people have talked about it. I don't know if your questions are answered there, but I am not really looking for those answers, so I didn't read further. Me thinks you did a search, didn't see a Hirschbach thread populate in the search results, so you posted a question about it. Scroll down just a little bit in the search results and your answers might be there among the discussions of Hirschbach in other threads.Millionaire Trucker, CAXPT, ncmickey and 1 other person Thank this.

The ones that mention them only mention in passing. There isnt a thread dedicated to them unless its talking about them buying a company or leasing trucks..neither of which is information im currently seeking. Im not like most newbies..i try to do a lot of research before jumping into somethingtscottme Thanks this.

Suggestion:
For any companies that you can't find the desired info on here, there is an app called Driver Pulse by Tenstreet. Through this app you may submit applications to companies. There is also a feature where you may submit questions to current and/or past drivers for a specific company. The app shows you when the driver drove for the company. I have used that to have specific questions answered where this forum may not have an active current driver for the company. Another option is to go to a truck stop and hang around until you see a truck for the company you want information about. Respectfully approach the driver and ask if they have time to talk for a short time about the company for which they drive. Most will be willing to have a short chat.tscottme and heartlandnewbie1988 Thank this. -

From what I understand they try tonpush their lease deal on you too..don’t do it.
Millionaire Trucker Thanks this. -
Was gonna say the same. They will push you to lease? Why? Because they make more money that way, and the only way to make more money is by taking it from you.Millionaire Trucker, tscottme and nredfor88 Thank this.
