Dutch Maid Logistics in Willard, OH would be a decent company to consider. My trainer at Dutch Maid lives in the Fort Wayne area and he has been with the company for 30 years. The company just started up its own school in February or March.
Is Prime really that bad?

Submit an online application to Stevens Transport. When a recruiter calls, as if you can attend the school in Denver, Colorado.
Drivers have posted it's a good school with meals provided. Lodging is described as "hotel like apartments."
One driver posted he was offered a plane ticket to Denver.
Sometimes you won't see all the details on a website.

If you think you'll need more food than is provided, the take a flexible bag with microwave foods to help out until your first paycheck. Cheap stuff at the Dollar Store, Walmart, other discount stores that sell food.SoulScream84 Thanks this. -
From your area, I'd give Roehl a good, hard look. Paid while in school and in training, I believe. Get 9-12 months in then bail for better pay and working conditions.

One issue i've noticed, that even after using the tenstreet program to apply to 4 different CDL schools, none have called me and it's been over 3 days since i applied. I would imagine this is due to my recent string of unemployment/lack and willingness to find employment. Should i be calling and pestering them about my application like i would other jobs? Only curious because everyone seems to mention being swarmed with calls from recruiters after applying.
