90mph isn't that uncommon or difficult to do when limits are 75 and 80

Did you go to court, or just pay the fines and fees? The part most people don’t think about is that a traffic citation is actually a criminal offense. You have been convicted of a crime. Sounds crazy, but it’s true. Where you may run into a problem is how they classified this. You may want to find that out. Depending on the class level, it could take quite a while to clear off your record. The time of the citation has less importance, it is the conviction date that you need to know.

Traffic convictions don't carry the same weight. Yes, what you are saying is technically true, but nowhere in our society is having been cited for speeding treated as a criminal offense.

There could be multiple answers actually. Basic answer that comes to mind is he was in a medical situation.

I myself questioned why he was driving that fast, why….? Because his / her answer would determine the state of mind….

We all have done some silly things in life. You admitting your ignorance instead of blaming others is very respectable in my eyes.

Just keep in mind for the future, many folks on the road see us as a rolling disaster looking for a place to happen. Don’t prove them right, keep your nose clean and your head up high, wish all the luck…..

We all have and do stupid things. Don't worry about the people that judge... except for jobs. Worry about their judgment. Anyone who says they don't do stupid things, is either narcissist or is a liar.
