Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

Oh well,
at least I had a moment of inspiration ...

Now, I think I must resign myself to the old fashioned truth.
No matter what you haul or what you do, you gotta strive to thrive.

 

They get anywhere from 1.50-1.75 for a simple lead or chase. 1.75-2.00 for high pole. 250-350 for a mini. Oh and they get overnight pay.

 

With all this complexity involved, it does not sound like something well suited for a solo guy with his own authority(?)
Or maybe I am wrong but I would think that being on your own with all that additional stuff to take care of on top of the very freight acquisition, is too much to handle by one person.

I limit what I do. I don’t get involved with loads that need multiple escorts or police escorts. I don’t do anything over 16’ wide or 15-6” high. And I’ve never been over 174 gross. I also limit the area I run. It’s easier to keep track of the various state regs.
