You sure USA Truck doesn't hire Missouri drivers?

They may hire in Missouri but the driver has responsibility of traveling to them, with gas being so high it's not much of a benefit to look for work in another state

Did you call USA Truck? Probably provide transportation to get there. Most companies do.

I will give them a call tomorrow and speak with a recruiter, generally most companies want to fly you somewhere... Unfortunately I do not fly period, I either drive or take a train... Too many unqualified people working as pilots these days, flying is like Russian roulette

I pulled tankers using an automatic transmission; Freightliner with Mercedes engine. Piece of junk. The company sent it back and bought Volvo's with Volvo automatic transmissions and they were perfect in every way.

USA Truck runs all over the US. The majority of their freight runs east of the Mississippi and south of the Mason-Dixon line, but I would expect being hired out of Missouri wouldn't be a problem because you are centrally located.

A few USA Truck drivers have posted on here recently about California & Pacific Northwest runs. Self-dispatch program, you choose your loads and run where you want to. Ask about that.

My two favorite companies right now, for long haul trucking, are USA Truck and Leonard's Express. Those are for coast-to-coast & border-to-border trucking.

I gave USA Truck strong consideration before, but my background was a kicker. Once I have more experience, I may see if USA Truck is willing to take a flyer on me. I really don't know why I didn't shoot my shot with Leonard's Express. Maybe they don't hire with no experience?
