Where is everyone #5

I was in there 4 times today. 2nd and 3rd times went smooth. 1st and 4th nobody in line had the right sequence of numerically coded passwords. Big surprise! I get to do it all again tomorrow.

 

Took a load of GE Prolec transformers from Shreveport to Long Island City, NY (Queens)
Loaded last Friday afternoon and delivered yesterday morning. I overslept Monday morning and missed their delivery hours. Those four transformers weighed a touch over 43,000lbs. As an easy return load back to Texas I grabbed this old girl out of Greencastle, PA...





This is a 1993 Ford L9000 Aeromax. This truck was picked up by the buyer at an auction near Shippensburg, PA and it's getting a new gig as a farm truck southeast of Austin, Texas. I really enjoy seeing these old trucks being repurposed and getting a new life instead of sitting and rotting in a field.

 

I called the guy and ask about the country fire station across the road, got permission to load there long as I didn’t block the doors…..

 

Drop this skidder off and head towards Ft. Wayne I guess….

Haven’t yet to be honest. I been running pretty steady, hopefully in a near weekend dad and I can lay it on the bench. He’s more excited than I am about it lol…..

 

I made it to the house. I got a permit order for Savannah Georgia to I think Leeds Alabama?

 

Unloadin in the mornin and headin home for the weekend. Got to PM the truck and trailer, new tires on both, and hopefully install and plumb my air dump on the trailer to compliment these new rubbers. Forgot the new tuner comin in tomorrow. Another good reason since I'll only be 100 miles from the house.

Been hittin it hard this last month. Left June 22nd, came home for three days over the fourth, then been out since the 5th. Spent 40 hours in St Regis, then a full 2 days in Springfield, OR.

Gonna kick the wife and play with the dogs, vice versa, and repeatedly.
