Twenty five or so years ago I took my first and last Greyhound bus from Dallas to Detroit. On the outskirts of Detroit, the driver was falling asleep and having a hard time staying in his lane. I said F this and tapped him on the shoulder and told him to wake up. He wasn't happy at all about that to say the least, but he kept in between the lines after that and I made it there alive. I suspect secretly he was thankful for it but had too much pride.

When you're dealing with a different country like that, things are quite different. Watching to way others drive in different countries makes us Americans think they have a serious suicidal tendency by the way they drive normally.
I lived in mainland Europe and it wasn't bad. Worst I ever drove in was around Rome for a couple of days. That was a trip!!! But, when you move East and start getting into countries with significant Hindu and Arabic populations, it gets down right insane. Get over to the Asian countries and it's even crazier I think.

And they bring it here, to US highways and interstates. Twice today on 40 I had guys at the last minute try to take space that wasn't in front of me, then act like it's my fault.

I have no filter with idiots, but i can show restraint where it's deserved. They got my full compliment of hand gestures and WTF?'s while i passed them.

People who seriously tailgate me over a significant distance tend to irk me. I've gotten to where it's pretty common as they are finally passing me, I'll give the the 0je finger salute as they drive past.

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.
