Hello everybody, I’m based in Las Vegas, NV sorta new into the industry although having 7 months over the road experience so far..

Which of those companies I’ve mentioned would you recommend and if there are others you’re advising to check out.

Currently I'm more interested in more home time preferably home daily or weekly if possible even tho my long term goal is staying OTR…

Stay where you are for another year. Then you’ll have enough experience to go somewhere besides the bottom feeders you have listed here.

YRC Freight/Reddaway probably hire you right now for home daily. Has their own cdl school in other states, so that shows they hire new cdl school grads.

Linehaul jobs are better with YRC Freight and Reddaway.
Still home every day, but just running terminal to terminal.
Both companies are part of Yellow.

Redbone Trucking hires for teams in Las Vegas.
Hires a few new cdl school grads, so you should be ok.
Out & back hauling FedEx freight.

I bet JB Hunt can do something for you. I've got a friend who left my current company to go work for them on a regional account. She's been doing good over there the last few months. She's on a southeastern regional dedicated account. I'd imagine they have some dedicated lanes to accommodate your hometime. Another friend of mine drove for Legends. He ran the 11 Western and was able to get home with regularity. He was Texas based though. He ran the hell out of Nevada so that might suit you too.

Pride Transport is OTR and has a drop yard in Las Vegas at the Thermo King facility.
Good place to park the truck while on hometime.
