Well 8 years ago I drop my CDL (stupid I know) and I just got my CDL-A back today. So now I need some advise what company that offers refesher course AND would hire a driver from Florida. Called FFE and no go,they're not hiring in FL. After some google searching I've only found Western Express and Knight that has refresher courses. Leading towards Knight but I want to explore more options. Does anyone know of companies that hires drivers that needs refresher training?

How much experience did you have before dropping the CDL? If those last 2 years had employment that could be verified and the period of employment were extended a few years prior to 10 years ago (basically you can prove several years of experience prior to hanging it up), smaller companies may not require any refresher if you can prove on the road test that you haven't lost your touch. Having had a CDL in the past exempts you from the ELDS requirements, too, so if you can find a place to rent a truck for the test, you're golden.

I only drove semi in trucking school and only drove box trucks and dump trucks but I spend the last 10 years in real estate and wasn't in trucking since 2012.
