More hard hits to the checkbook. Last three weeks been rough on it. Hoping to run trouble free till i do the overhaul now, and i have all the parts for it in case i have trouble. I'd like to wait till Christmas for that if possible.

 

This by the way was the son of my friend who died a bit o'go. He has decided he wants to drive, save more money and then in four years go to college. He wanted to drive this fathers truck so I brought it back up to snuff and it will be sitting here as soon as he gets out if driving school.

He wants to "finish train" with me, (Flatbed and or step deck) but I am not sure my body will be up to that in 8 weeks.

Any volunteers?

He has had quite an attitude change and his father would of been proud of him....finally.

 

Excuse me! (Bee taps on glass of phone screen.) Hey! You! Where the heck is the hot sauce or pico for the eggs and potatoes? You didn't eat them naked did you?

 

That is a proper way to finish breakfast.

today was an utter failure. I was the first RGN in line this morning at 0700 and come 1700 it was still empty. So alas we sit till Monday. Not sure what the plan will be — wait for the JCB to get fixed or do something else. Neither way I lost a day in Nashville already. Soooooooo, bar for two nights and some motel R&R. Roll back to the yard Sunday afternoon.
