Well its new coax and has basically same as old coax and some junk coax i have....

Two pics i just took with stub cal on and off..It basically supposed to eliminate the coax from the equastion..

Found my dbl male but just cant get the angle for my analyzer to fit on bottom of stud...To late to re adjust ant bracket now so ill have to try another day...

Ill have to bone up on common mode cause im not exactually shure what it is and how to spot it..

Just thinkin..Could cmc be caused by running coax and radios pwr/gnd sife by side?

That's quite a difference. It would be interesting to see the numbers with the other antennas. Especially while traveling down the highway.

Those 102" stainless steel whips are designed to be used with a 6" coil spring to equal 108" with either a ball mount or a through the roof solid mount, personally i would not use a riser.

Whats a spring if its not a riser??
A spring just makes kt flip flop even more which in turn affect signal even more so that a solid riser..

There is no place for a ball mount, and it cant go through the roof of a big trk..

I tried to read all of this quickly, and I didn't see anyone mention this; but I would start with going back and cleaning up your ground points on the antenna mount and your bonding straps. Simple but can be very effective. (knowing you from reading your posts, you have probably already done this, but I throw it out there anyway FWIW)

Well mike...Today i said frig it and im gonna slap on my old 102 vs the 7ft skipshooter. I did so and only difference was the bottom part of ant stud and i took off one of the 3 gnd straps(it was a bit rusty under it)....Mind you it had rained earljer in the day but was dry when i left home....Guess what..Its a bit better but im parked around alot of metal fenceing and a big ole aircraft hanger but earlier it was really good....So i have a gnd issue or all the fenceing n such now is messin with my stuff..Ill have to wait till rain stops n see again..
