7400 international truck door key inop

    2007 International 7400 7.6L VIN: 1HTWEAAN17J563240

    When you put the key in the door lock cylinder to unlock the
    door, the key turns ok, but it won't unlock the door. on the
    inside you can see a plastic piece the key turns, but it
    looks pretty worn, I call the parts house and they can find
    everything but that plastic piece! Have any of you came
    across this and found a fix? maybe a part number I can give
    to the parts guy down town.....I think they have new parts guys down in Anchorage.

    I just went through the Navistar parts catalog and the door handle latch area is not broken down well enough to find the lever that goes on the lock cylinder. There should be someone in the Navistar parts system your parts person can call for support. This is actually quite common with their parts system.
