I like macks.My business model is different than alot of others.I make just as much money as a 5 driver fleet.However mine are paid for.Being home everyday off weekends and Holidays.Makes hiring drivers alot easier.The good drivers do About 1800-2500 bring home.i don't know what no touch freight pays over the road these days.if I did otr I would sell trucks every 2 years.Or rebuild a pre emmision truck.I honestly don't think any 2014 is going to work OTR.With drivers.Only an owner op with tools and knowledge can pull that off.Did I mention I have a 97 international eagle I'm getting road ready.I honestly think international is garbage.But for 9 k running rebuilt drivetrain.Its a toy project has small slime ball in it.If I had my choice of new trucks I'd go freightliner or Volvld fleet restored kw Pete or western star.Honestly that's the direction I want to go in the future.All this new stuff is junk.Id prefer Detroit for cost of parts.Pre emmision cat is the best.I don't like Cummins especially these new ones.paccar is garbage as well.It just blows my mind people haven't realized all these emmision motors are junk.Maxforce is the same junk.The guts of maxiforce are rock solid.
