I wasn't here when it was in operation, but I was here when the sign was still on the front gable, more than likely that sign is somewhere in the desert n/e of there ..... because:

The Reason Why ..........

When I was a little boy riding my bike on the sidewalk and saw a big truck coming, I would give the arm-sign for the old man driving to blast his air horns ...... and they did, every time.

Now I AM the old guy driving the big truck blasting his air horns every time for the little boys riding their bike on the sidewalk giving me the arm-sign.

And I love every pound of air coming out of the 'shaker twins when that happens !

You know what’s crazy is my insurance states to not do this as it can cause an accident and then be liable. I just can’t bring myself to not blow the horn when I see a younger version of myself doing the horn signal.

 

@Ruthless, that's one most of us will never get to see in a truck.
