This is just my opinion, but you are talking about becoming a truck owner, not a tourist. Going to states just because you like driving in them isn't always a good business move. Until you establish connections I would concentrate on revenue over the scenery.

I just want to see people start getting ahead. Oil industry hasn't seen a good boom in about 7 years. It tanked in early 2014 and just kinda stayed down until the last couple months.
2009 to 2013 if you wanted overtime the question was never how much OT was available, it was how much OT do you want to work.Last edited: Jul 28, 2022

Sheesh that garbage still isn’t over with yet? I’m not vaccinated for freakin anthrax or various other diseases just because they exist and you could potentially get them lol COVID was a huge deal at the prison for a couple months, some officers got it and couldn’t come to work, inmates had to be quarantined with other infected ones, etc etc and then one day it was back to running full steam ahead as if nothing happened

How has fuel prices affected the trucking industry, btw? Also, what’s all this ruckus about truck drivers going on strike? I’ve been out the loop for awhile
CAXPT, MOBee, singlescrewshaker and 1 other person Thank this. -
I’m supposed to talk to the dsv recruiter again tomorrow morning to give me the full run down of their lease purchase, apart from that idk, but I imagine within 2 weeks I’ll be hopping on a plane... or god forbid a Greyhound lol for me taking a bus anywhere signifies defeat considering the two other times I washed out when I first began

Yep you’re 100% right, that’ll definitely be a learning curve

Then go back and read @D.Tibbitt post of how he handle it. Pretty honest and real what he said.
