XM and Sirius Installation

    I watched all of the installation videos over at Sirius. Pretty clean setup for vehicles if you take the time. I was wondering, however, where might be a good place (considering cable lengths) to install the antenna on a truck? I am considering getting it since roaming the FM channels while roaming the country will get annoying. Those of you who have XM/Sirius, where do you have the antenna installed and where did you run the cables?

    Hey there.

    One thing you may want to do is get an FM adaptor thingy and connect it to the trucks radio and the other end to the sattellite radio.It will eliminate the need to constantly change stations.That can get real old especially in maetropolitan areas where all the frequencies are in use.Without one, you may get interference from your radio and it will drive you nuts.

    As for the anntennea ,what do you drive? If you run a Columbia,or a Century Class, you can put it behind the sun visor on one of the mounting brackets.Wrap it up with a few layers of duct tape and you'll be good to go..

    If your in a Cascadia,they don't have sunvisors and there just really isn't any way to keep it out of sight..
