Another driver talking out their arse about LS, but has no real evidence, but here say, and “my buddy told me”. They have 12k plus BCOs, at least half of those have been here longer than 10 years. They must be doing something right at LS.
This is my gross after six months, pulling general box freight. No agents spoon feeding me gravy loads, but your right, I’m just a c hair better than a leased mega driver. -
Wait,
So I lease my truck&trailer onto a company, book my own loads, and negotiate 100% of the loads/rates I do through brokers but your saying my company does the hard work for me and that I'm basically taking a free ride? How so?
Are all these guys on here who have own authority, with no direct customers, and use a factoring company to get paid also getting a free ride? Must be....larry2903, Dave_in_AZ, RefMata and 5 others Thank this. -
Is that before or after LS’s 26%? I assume after since it says 1099 revenue.

How many deadhead miles?Rideandrepair Thanks this.

92 loads in 6 months is quite impressive !Dave_in_AZ, RefMata, ProfessionalNoticer and 3 others Thank this.

I’m guessing you own a Trailer. Hard to tell from a screenshot. Not many details. Similar to Dave’s posts. Kind of vague. Regardless, revenue looks to be about average for YTD 2022. $2.95 pm on an average trip of 550 miles. Nothing wrong with that. The example doesn’t show total odometer miles ran, including Deadhead. The bottom line is all that matters. Very similar to my numbers for last year. It’s an honest living. Nothing to brag about though. You should check with Dave, he makes that amount on 10 loads in 10 weeks. Screenshots to prove it.Last edited: Jul 30, 2022
Dirk Diggler Thanks this. -
Also
First 3 months of this year very difficult than the next 3 months.
I posted this thread in March when I notice a major shift taking place and it's been a steep slope down hill ever since.
Just to give an idea I was doing power only in January and February and was making more money then than I am now pulling a flatbed in the summer.
For one example ran load out trailers from Chicago to LA for more money than what actual loads are paying now on that lane.
Those times seem like an impossible dream now compared to the market currently.77fib77 and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Oops
There was a time mobile internet truckstop you could do a nation wide search of loads in one click, now it's limited to one state or 300 mile radius of a city.
That's helpful when looking for hot loads available everywhere that were sometimes worth deadheading or taking any load to.
They made searching more limited now. Makes no sense.xsetra, D.Tibbitt and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Go tell internet truckstop and freightwaves how wrong they are and let us know what they cone back with.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
