..just curious since it's gettn' close to tax time now, don't u JCT drivers hafta pay your own FICA taxes, the whole shebang, that cuts into your net too, is that quarterly payments then? Where do u get good info about keeping records for taxes & what deductions u can claim? JCT is the only company that I've researched here that I would do a lease with but don't have 2 yrs OTR yet, when I do the freight situation should be better along with the economy by then so a lease may be the way to go with a company like JCT..

 

Take 8% off your gross and thatll be your est taxes. As far as deductions you can basically claim all expenses on the road as deductions, your trk payment, fuel etc.
