Totally not comparing apples to oranges. No false equivalency here.

I'm going to make one last comment and then I am going to self-ban myself from this thread. To be honest it doesn't matter if the vehicle is a 50-year-old Ford farm tractor. It has value to somebody. You should do your due diligence to avoid damaging another person's property and be ready to pay for its repair if you do. This should also include the lost productivity from said vehicle. This to me is just basic common sense!

It's not hard to hit stuff, yet it's extremely rare the driver who has never hit anything. Don't count your eggs before they hatch. The overwhelming odds are that you will hit something, at some point. Not saying anything about you the individual driver. That's simply the odds involved.

The original post had not a #### thing to do with whether or not anyone thinks it is wrong. It was a very simple question with a very simple answer. You and like 2 others have jumped on your soapboxes and be ###### if the original context is brought up, we HAVE to fully understand just how bad it is to do damage to another's property. Pay penance or die. You made your #### point, even as your point had nothing to do with the question. Your point still has nothing to do with the question. You are like a broken record stuck on a 2 line loop. See, people like you like to project exactly what is in their minds onto other people. Everyone knows exactly how you would view it if and when you damage someone else's property, so you want to assume that everyone else sees it the same. Everyone now knows what you think of people who disagree and so you assume that everyone must see it the same. You must be a trolling tool because you jumped all over calling someone else such. The saddest part is that you really believe that you scored some points with the argument waged. It's quite sad and I feel bad for you.

I think it's a good idea to just close it. Sufficient warning has been given in numerous places on the forums. Nothing more will be gained from this thread.

It's not possible that you damaged something and then later obtained a better position elsewhere at some point. You weren't subjected to truck driver purgatory in perpetuity.

    Cope.

The OP got answered right away. After that, we got on a side discussion. If you don't like it, don't participate.

I think it's bad to damage other people's property. You seem to think it's okay. Looks like I can't change your mind, and you sure as hell won't change mine. So take it easy.

Agree to disagree. That's my only statement on that. :)
