As I read all this about what driver was making the most money, a thought came in my mind. It reminds me of what has happened on the highways today, instead of "co-operation between drivers" driving today has evolved into "competition", much like a NASCAR race.
Here is driver for T-Force challenging other drivers to beat what he made last year. I will almost bet you, he takes the same attitude when he climbs behind the wheel. PASS ME IF YOU CAN!
I for one, really do not care what the next driver makes. During my working years, I had one goal, make enough to take care of my family and be happy doing it. I never compared my pay check with the next driver, What the next driver made was none of my business and what I made was nobody's business but mine.Last edited: Jul 30, 2022
Speedy356, EuropeanTrucker, InTooDeep and 3 others Thank this. -
imagine all stores you mught shop at hide their prices. only at check out you find out prices. that would be pretty bad allow for alot of unfairness to occur. etc. i know its relatively irrelevant comparison but it migjt hold some water.SevynsUp Thanks this. -
Yeah. I never took it as a p****** contest. I always liked to see what others made. Not to compare on whether who made the most. But to get a general consensus on what some of these different companies pay. Half of these companies will tell you anything to get you in the door. Another drivers w2 is sort of like the proof is in the pudding, if you will. I know experiences may vary though. Anyways, just my 2 cents.
