I live in Gilbert and recently finished CDL training at Southwest Truck Driver Training in Phx. Before going I looked at all of the five or six school options available in the area, before deciding on SWTDT. The cost and time frame where a bit better than AIT. All of them say they offer "life-time job placement assistance", but these days that offer seems to be a worthless non sequitor.

I am a newbie driver, just got out of truck driving school. I am trying to find a good reputable company to go work for and get some experience and see the world. We had Swift, Werener and May come in and visit the class and give us their take/views on each company. I am leaning towards May because they are fairly close to home in Oregon and have a pretty good report overall. If you can give me some additional feedback in regards to the company and what the equipment is like and time OTR before getting back home would be greatly appreciated.
