Well, the vacation to Mexico is officially over but it was a great week with my family. Flew home Saturday morning and spent the rest of the weekend at home including Monday. This was our last night in our house in La Paz...
Grabbed a load of military equipment from Fort Polk Louisiana going to the Stones Ranch Military Reservation in East Lyme Connecticut which appears to be a National Guard installation. These loads still pay really good and I will take them whenever available. Just crossed the Mississippi-Alabama state line a few miles back rolling eastbound and down I-20.
Made a stop in Jackson, MS to get the rig washed up and shining again. The Blue Beacon did a good job and I dried the truck in the parking lot. Gotta polish the wheels again but overall it looks nice!

Hey @MOBee — you all roll through east Idaho and don’t at least give a shout, I’m gonna be pissed — we have the technology if’n you happen to need a layovercke, jamespmack, beastr123 and 8 others Thank this.

If ya got a electric dryer ya already got a plug....go get a rv cord and the correct ends for the plugs for the sockets.
Last time we lost power I backed the bucket truck up to the shop....wired up a 12 Guage extension cord that I'd cut in half with the lawn mower. Shut off the main and the breakers and plugged it in. Dumb luck I got the right leg to run the fridge, fireplace, bar TV, bar fridge, bar lights....called the neighbors to come over.
Called in the outage...line down just south of the house....how do you know that...cause I watched the bin that's laying in the middle of the field fly through it.....oh....we'll send out a crew.....cke, jamespmack, Feedman and 4 others Thank this. -
Hey fellas if you had to choose between Maverick and TMC which would you go with? TMC pays percentage and Maverick pays by the mile; I just looked at their glass division and they pay 60 cents a mile and claim most of their freight is pre loaded; I don’t really like the idea of “by the mile” because in my experience that means getting shafted loading and unloading, but maybe Maverick is different

TMC, hands down.cke, jamespmack, Flint1 and 7 others Thank this.

That truck looks familiar. You in western Arkansas much?cke, jamespmack, CAXPT and 4 others Thank this.

I'd of said maverick.
Sole reason being seems 90% TMC loads are tarp, & that's a no go for me.. lol
The 63mph speed sucks too..
TMC is probably the better outfit aside from that..cke, jamespmack, Flint1 and 5 others Thank this.
