Amazon has one that goes on and come off easy and isn't pricey. I have it but took it back off, didn't care for it.

I converted my manual steering to power the easy economical way. I just mounted a spinner knob.

I wasn't a believer until a trash hauling friend of mine bought me one. Cuz I had been helping her with open deck stuff. She used one on the daily with what she used to do. Still does now in a heavy wrecker.

Now quite frankly I don't know how I drove without one. Seems so much more natural than rubbing the skin off my palm. I mean I figured I would put it on and just try it out for a while but it became completely natural. And now when I jump in a truck or a machine that doesn't have one I feel almost lost.

Also I hate mounting GPS in the windshield so, that was my solution. And no I don't sit that way it's just done for the day.

A perfect illustration on how NOT to install a spinner.
DOT will give you a citation if seen by them.

Spinner Knobs are not regulated by the FMCSA. I am not privy to all the laws in the states. Spinner knobs are regulated federally by OSHA but not for OTR tractors. If a DOT officer did cite I would love to see the code section cited!

    Laws Regarding Spinner Knobs

To comply with federal regulations, the spinner knob must be installed on the inside of the steering wheel because if installed on the outside, it's possible your clothing could catch on the knob and interfere with safe operation of the vehicle.

Why couldn't the DOT charge you with this?

Also NO part of the knob should be on the outside of the wheel, including the bracket/clamp.
