Hello everyone. I need to get frame ramps but I don't have holes in my frame for them to bolt to. I know we cannot weld or drill on the truck frame.
    Any advice? 20220722_074636.jpg

Who says you can't drill the frame?

Drilling the web (vertical portion) is perfectly fine. Drilling the flanges is a huge no-no.

As he said above, perfectly fine to drill the frame.
It can be welded as well if dine by a competent person.
Especially way on the back of the frame where your ramps would go. What's the worst that would happen? Back of the frame falls off. Not gonna happen anyway

I just added some ramps to my frame . now they arent the greatest but they get the job done for what it is.

I used 3/16 bit to 1/2 inch to 3/4.. Slow and steady wins the race. You want brand new sharp bits. And drill nice and slow. Going fast is only going to burn up ur bits. Its a all day job if by urself. It took about 6 hours total. To drill the ramp holes into the ramps and then drill the frame out.

3/4 inch grade 8 bolts with 3/4 inch grade 8 flange lock nuts

    cke and Coolbreezin Thank this.

Mag drill with an annular cutting bit. Take longer to set up each hole than to drill it.
